First, wizards created the Duelist PrC. And it was proclaimed on forums by monkies who believe wizards are unstoppable and always have the exact spells they need prepared, monks are crap and should never be played and nothing will make them as good as any other class (exception CW Samurai) and Druids are the highest form of life that this class was not worth taking. For it was a melee class that wasn't totally dependent on power attack, nor was it Dervish.
Then, in a flash of light, Wizards created the Swashbuckler, a base class fitting with the style of the Duelist. And for three glorious levels, all was good, but alas they did not think to put any class features worth having past this glorious third level. But truly there was no greater crime than giving the "Acrobatic Charge" ability at 8th level, for such a feature exists at level 6 of Duelist. Truely, they have created a class that acts as a perfect base class into the Duelist PrC and have managed to waste a class feature on redundancy. May flames rain from the sky upon the lazy buffoon who decided not to think up a new feature, and simply use an identical one from a class people who play Swashbucklers are likely to go into, and better yet, pick one of the few features that absolutely cannot stack without the most creative of DMs.
